Briefly about the EU Personal Data Regulation (GDPR)
GDPR is the European Union's new data protection rights, which replaced the Danish Personal Data Act on 25 May 2018. On this information page, you can read about which parts of your personal data we manage, how we protect them and what rights you have. You will also find instructions on how to correct information, order register extracts, etc.
What is personal information?
Personal information is all information that can be directly or indirectly linked to you as an individual. Examples of personal information are name, contact information, login information, visit and order history as well as household size.
Why we need your personal information:
Tasty America uses your personal information to provide you with the best and most flexible service when ordering our items online, including special offers and interesting tips. We do this so that you get the best possible customer experience when you use our services.

How we collect and handle your personal information
You must be able to feel safe around our processing of your personal data. Therefore, it is important for us that you understand how we collect and process the data you share with us.
The information we collect from you is primarily collected in the following contexts:
- When you become a customer with us, ie. registers a user account upon purchase.
- When you use our services or interact with our communications department.
- When setting your personal preferences to get the most tailored experience possible.
- When you contact us - for example our customer service.
In some cases, we may pass on your personal information to other group companies, IT suppliers or companies we work with in order to offer and develop our products and services. We do not sell your personal information to others.
How we protect your personal information
We have taken the necessary technical and organizational security measures to prevent your personal data from being falsified or lost, as well as to prevent unauthorized access to them in accordance with applicable legislation regarding the protection of your personal data.
Your rights under the GDPR
- Registry extract. You have the right to request confirmation as to whether or not we process personal data about you. If we do, you have, through a register extract, the right to see what information about you we process.
- Correction. If a personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request that it be corrected.
- Withdrawal of consent. If we process your personal data with your consent as the legal basis for the processing, you have the right to revoke your consent with future effect at any time.
- Oppose you direct marketing. You have the right to oppose the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing. This is most easily done by unsubscribing from emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.
- Complaints. If you believe we are handling your personal information incorrectly, please contact us (see below). You also have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the supervisory authority, ie. The Data Inspectorate.
- Challenge legitimate interest. You have the right to oppose the processing of your data based on a legitimate interest if in your case there are reasons that contradict the data processing. However, if you object to the processing of your data, even if there are legitimate reasons to offset it, we may continue the data processing.
- Deletion of personal data. You have the right to request that your personal data be deleted and, in certain cases, to have it deleted. An exception is if we have a legal basis for preserving your data.
- Data portability. In connection with the transfer of your data to another personal data controller, you have in some cases the right to receive a copy in a structured format of the information you have provided about yourself.

All information that can be linked to a natural person in the company is covered by the GDPR, for example contact person, e-mail address and mobile number.
