Twizzlers were first produced in 1929 by Young and Smylie. The company itself was founded in 1845, making it one of the oldest confectionery firms in the United StatesTwizzlers Strawberry Twists were first introduced in the 70's and have become a cult classic. They are chock full of wonderful strawberry flavor, they are wonderfully sweet, but with low fat content for the health concious. Twizzler's Strawberry Twists are one of the best forms of licorice you will find coming from the US. Get a twist on your day!
