Mountain Dew Voltage was voted for by Mountain Dew fans during the first phase of DEWmocracy in 2007 and was set to be released in the summer of 2008 to compete with Mountain Dew Supernova and Mountain Dew Revolution to become a permanent flavor in the Mountain Dew family. By August, the voting had concluded, and Mountain Dew Voltage was announced as the winner, with an astonishing 41% of the votes! Mountain Dew Voltage is packed with raspberry, citrus, and ginseng flavors. Despite its powerful-sounding name, Voltage has only a slightly higher caffeine content compared to regular Mountain Dew. Even so, we at Tasty America have fallen head over heels for Mountain Dew Voltage, and we hope you will, too!
